Cordless

Tim Dechent and Tim Fischer arranged the band Cordless in the summer of 2002. The two of them had been friends for a long time and both of them had only one thing on their mind; to make music. So, they created Cordless.

Which way to go?
They got inspiration from bands like Lifehouse and Goo Goo Dolls, who helped them to find the right rhythm, both musically and lyrically, and with that inspiration the Alternative-Rock band Cordless was born.

No time to wait.
Very quickly Cordless was planning their own future and no longer needed to hide behind their idols. Their guitar experience combined with Fischer’s unrivaled voice, took them to higher levels including a soon following demo-tape, which helped them become a local favorite. After that, there was no stopping them. But at this point, they still needed some musical back up.

Simon Diefenbach saw Cordless playing in a bar, and one week later Cordless convinced him that he was exactly the drummer that Cordless was looking for.

It was time to looking for a bass player. Not a easy thing. A friend of ours introduced us to Basti. He was a perfect fit.

Cordless is:

Tim Fischer: Songwriting, voice and guitar
Tim Dechent: Songwriting, guitar
Simon Diefenbach: Drums
Sebastian Rettig: Bass
